AMSOIL OE synthetic engine oil provides excellent wear control and protects critical engine parts such as pistons and cams. AMSOIL OE engine oil provides 47% more wear protection than required by the GM dexos1 Gen 2 specification.

AMSOIL OE synthetic motor oil achieved 100 percent protection against LSPI2 in the engine test required by GM's dexos1 Gen 2 specification, with five consecutive tests reporting zero instances.

Synthetic AMSOIL OE motor oil is compatible with other synthetic and conventional engine oils. Mixing with other oils, however, will shorten the life of AMSOIL engine oils and reduce their performance. AMSOIL does not support extended drain intervals where oils have been mixed.

Non-genuine oil additives are not recommended for use with AMSOIL OE Synthetic engine oil.
