AMSOIL Z-ROD 10W30 Synthetic Motor Oil ZRT

AMSOIL Z-ROD 10W30 ZRT provides long-lasting rust and corrosion protection and isformulated with a unique blend of corrosion and rust inhibitors to provide maximum protection during long-term storage. To prove its effectiveness, the AMSOIL Z-ROD has been subjected to the standard humidity chamber rust protection test method (ASTM D-1748). This test evaluates the preventive properties of oil rust under high humidity conditions. AMSOIL Z-ROD showed no signs of oxidation after 192 hours, the leading competitor did not prove itself after 24 hours.

Application:
AMSOIL Z-ROD synthetic engine oil is recommended for older or modified engines requiring 10W-30 or 20W-50 engine oil. AMSOIL Z-ROD meets API SL and earlier specifications, allowing for increased levels of anti-wear additives. The ZDDP levels in Z-ROD Synthetic Motor Oil exceed the limits of API SM and newer specifications.

Oil:
Since the engines in classic cars, HOT RODs and other vehicles of this type are often modified, no recommendation can be given for a universal spacing between. It is the responsibility of the owner to determine the time between replacements. As a general service guideline, the maximum usage time of the Z-ROD AMSOIL should not exceed 5000 miles or one year, whichever comes first. In heavily modified engines (e.g., forced induction, nitrous oxide), the maximum drain interval should not exceed 3000 miles or one year, whichever comes first.
