It allows the use of unleaded gasoline in engines of the old type, adapted to burn fuel containing tetraethyl lead. Increases the octane rating of the fuel as needed. It cleans the fuel system, reduces fuel consumption, improves engine dynamics.
It prevents the destruction of valve seats, prevents a decrease in engine power, a decrease in the compression ratio and knocking combustion when using unleaded fuel. Recommended for sports and heavy-duty engines.
How to use:
A lead additive chemically called tetraethyl lead is added to gasoline to increase the octane rating. The octane number is a measure of a fuel's resistance to detonation, or knocking, which can cause serious damage to pistons, connecting rods and cylinder heads. Normal gasoline has an octane number of 87, and super gasoline - 91. Gasoline with a higher octane number is used for harsh engine operating conditions, high speeds and high compression ratios.
