AMSOIL HP Marine has excellent engine wear protection, low smoke, rust protection and low toxicity in aqueous environments. Excellent performance as an injection oil or in a 50:1 pre-mix (replaces Evinrude XD100 ™ 2-Cycle Oils).
HP Marine's unique synthetic formulation provides increased lubricity with reduced wear during normal non-compound operation (see field test results). During 534 hours of field testing, HP Marine completely prevented piston swelling and cylinder slippage, demonstrating its excellent lubricity and ability to reduce friction between moving parts. It maintains a strong lubricating film even under harsh mixing conditions, which helps marine engines achieve maximum service life.
HP Marine was used in the 250 hp Evinrude E-TEC engine powering a large-capacity rescue vessel. The results prove that HP Marine provides exceptional wear protection and deposit control.
